More transparency at a glance: our new climate calculator is now available online in our webshop.
Sustainability is becoming increasingly measurable thanks to new legal requirements, rising customer expectations, and the desire to reduce emissions in a targeted manner. That's exactly why we now offer the Climate Calculator: a digital tool that quickly and transparently shows you the carbon footprint associated with your orders.
Whether you are preparing for CSRD, need sustainability data for customer inquiries, or want to better manage your internal climate goals, the Climate Calculator makes complex CO₂ information understandable, structured, and directly usable.
The Climate Calculator records and calculates the carbon footprint associated with your purchases and activities with us. The calculation is based on the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, an internationally established standard. Emissions are classified into Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3, so you can see not only “how much” but also where emissions occur.
The result: greater transparency in the value chain and a solid basis for reports, documentation, and concrete reduction measures.

You can view the carbon footprint for each order line. This shows you which products and quantities have the greatest impact.
The Climate Calculator structures emissions according to relevant areas like energy, transportation, purchasing, and other categories. This helps you identify drivers more quickly.
You can download a detailed order history with CO₂ information. This is useful for internal reporting.
Where available, the Climate Calculator helps you trace the origin of the steel and check EPDs (Environmental Product Declarations) and LCAs (Life Cycle Assessments).
The Climate Calculator helps you prepare data for sustainability reports in a structured way – especially in the context of EU sustainability reporting (CSRD).
The Climate Calculator is available to you as a customer free of charge and can be used directly in the web shop. Simply log in, call up your orders and view the CO₂ values.
